Sentinel Study Team Engages Veterans at NJ Health Fair in Monmouth County, Lincroft, New Jersey
On September 19th, the Sentinel Study Team successfully connected with the local veteran community at the Monmouth County Health Fair in Lincroft, New Jersey. The team was able to engage with attendees, resulting in the enrollment of new participants and the collection of essential blood samples to advance the study's research goals.


HunterSeven Motorcycle Run: SENTINEL Study Recruitment Event at VFW post in Whitman, MA
On September 6th, we were honored to meet vets in person at the HunterSeven Foundation's First Annual “F*CK CANCER” Motorcycle Run at the Whitman VFW post in Whitman, MA. Our team joined post-9/11 veterans to support those riding to raise cancer awareness among veterans and connected with new participants for the SENTINEL study. The Sentinel Study team participated in the NJ Health Fair at the Veterans Foundation of America in Bordentown, NJ, on August 26th. Our team presented comprehensive information about the SENTINEL study, successfully engaged with dozens of veterans, and enrolled several new participants on-site.


Dana-Farber's MCED Team Attends the American Foreign Legion Convention
The American Legion National Convention held on August 22-25th in Tampa, FL is an annual event hosted by the nation’s leading veterans service organization and draws around 9,000 members. Our team connected with veterans, enrolling some on-site to the SENTINEL study and others who reached out after the event. We also built valuable relationships with delegates from American Legion posts across the country who will help spread the word about our study.
